Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil or olive oil
  • 1½ - 2 pounds ribeye steak cut into bite-size pieces, or sirloin steak, tenderloin, or New York strip
  • ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon pepper or to taste
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Cut steak into cubes and season them generously with salt and pepper.
  • Add the avocado oil to a cast iron or large skillet and heat it over high heat. Make sure the oil is hot, then add the steak bites to it. Cook for at least 3 minutes before stirring to get a nice sear. Continue cooking for another 2 minutes until they’re golden brown. If your skillet isn’t big enough, you may need to do this in batches.
  • Transfer the steak bites to a bowl and in the same skillet, add the butter. Turn the heat down to medium-low and allow the butter to melt.
  • Add the minced garlic. Cook for about 30 seconds while stirring, just until the garlic becomes fragrant and starts to brown.
  • Add the steak bites back to the skillet and toss well to coat. Allow steak to rest for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve.
