- 1 tablespoon avocado oil or olive oil
- 1½ - 2 pounds ribeye steak cut into bite-size pieces, or sirloin steak, tenderloin, or New York strip
- ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
- ½ teaspoon pepper or to taste
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
Cut steak into cubes and season them generously with salt and pepper.
Add the avocado oil to a cast iron or large skillet and heat it over high heat. Make sure the oil is hot, then add the steak bites to it. Cook for at least 3 minutes before stirring to get a nice sear. Continue cooking for another 2 minutes until they’re golden brown. If your skillet isn’t big enough, you may need to do this in batches.
Transfer the steak bites to a bowl and in the same skillet, add the butter. Turn the heat down to medium-low and allow the butter to melt.
Add the minced garlic. Cook for about 30 seconds while stirring, just until the garlic becomes fragrant and starts to brown.
Add the steak bites back to the skillet and toss well to coat. Allow steak to rest for a few minutes.
Garnish with parsley and serve.
